Physiotherapy Research Society (PRS) – Student Roles (2 posts): Publicity & Media Team (Executive Committee)

The Physiotherapy Research Society (PRS) is run by a committee of individuals passionate about driving and improving physiotherapy research across the profession. Our international committee collaborates with academic and healthcare organisations to help shape policy and advance physiotherapy research. We host the annual PRS Research Conference and deliver initiatives that provide education, support, funding, and mentoring for both new and established researchers.

We are recruiting two current physiotherapy students to join our Publicity & Media Team as full Executive Committee members. These roles suit student physiotherapists with an interest in research and/or education. We have two posts to support the publicity team

The role

Alongside contributing to the broader activities of the PRS and its Executive Committee, you will help PRS to:

  • Promote and strengthen relationships with student physiotherapists
  • Shape how PRS engages with students and better meets student needs
  • Support PRS publicity campaigns and student-facing communication

Main responsibilities

  • Attend Executive Committee meetings throughout the year (approximately 6–8 per year, held virtually, usually 90–120 minutes)
  • Work with Executive Committee members to promote PRS activity and opportunities
  • Act as a link to student members and help develop ways to better engage students with PRS activities
  • Act as a link between PRS and the CSP Student Reference Group (SRG)
  • Support PRS publicity campaigns, working with the Publicity Officer to create student-targeted content across PRS social media channels

Eligibility

  • Current student on an undergraduate or pre-registration Physiotherapy course (BSc or MSc)
