Joining the PRS is easy, costs only £25 per year and is open to qualified physiotherapists, student physiotherapists, academics and other professionals with an interest in physiotherapy research.
Who can Join?
Membership is open to all physiotherapists with an interest in research and who are eligible for UK registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or who are studying for such a qualification or hold equivalent qualifications.
Membership is also open to academics and professionals from related disciplines, either working with physiotherapists or conducting research in areas relevant to physiotherapy.
We also provide an International Associate Membership for those applying to join the PRS but who reside outside of the UK.

How to join online
UK residents with GBP bank account can join using our secure online process. It typically takes 3-5 minutes (if you already have a CSP website account) and access to PRS member content on the website is immediate.
For those applying from the UK:
If you do not have a CSP website account you will need to create one first (you do not need to be a CSP member to create an account). To do so click on 'Register now' and follow the instructions. If you have an account but have forgotten your login details, click on 'login' and then click on 'reset your password'. You will get an email to enable you to reset your password.
For those applying for international associate membership:
We welcome members from the Europe and other countries, please contact us for further joining information if you are looking to join as an international member. We have alternative payment options available for our international associate members.
Communication:
Our primary communication method with members is via email, and the link to our quarterly newsletter is distributed this way too, so it is vital that you update your email address with us if you change it
