We were hosted by London South Bank University with Michael Mansfield taking a lead on organising this event in 2019. We were joined by Professor Mick Thacker and Professor Ann Moore as our keynote speakers.
Professor Thacker explained to our audience what a paradigm is and detailed their role in scientific thinking. He discussed the concept of 'normal science' as it pertains to physiotherapy research and practice and showed how this approach limits scientific thinking, discovery and dissemination. We were additionally joined by Professor Anne Moore shared her research career journey through it's twists and turns, providing valuable insight and inspiration to our audience of keen researchers and physiotherapists.
