I am an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust.

My primary clinical interests are Upper Limb disorders, Rheumatology, Widespread Pain conditions and biopsychosocial management.

I am a member of the MACP after completing my MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy, from which my dissertation on the Management of Atraumatic Shoulder Instability received the both the MACP’s Student Research Award and MSc/PGDip Award.

It was subsequently presented as a poster at the World Physiotherapy Congress and is soon to be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

I have led various successful service development and quality improvement projects within my Trust, and I have also led in the promotion of broader research activities and an innovation culture within the Trust.

This has included building links with consultants and the wider service, including on the current ARTISAN trial.

I am presently taking a lead in training First Contact Practitioners for their Accreditation and I am the Vice Chair and Publicity Officer for the PRS and in addition to this role I am a member of the Scientific Committee of EUSSER.
